Raja Kumar’s practice embraces all stages of litigation (interlocutory, trial and appellate) and arbitration proceedings advising both corporate and individual clients on a broad range of areas including contractual and construction disputes, debt recovery, defamation and enforcement proceedings which includes but not limited to the following:

• Lead Counsel in litigation for a well known private hospital in relation to disputes arising out of a scholarship agreements
• Junior Counsel in a cross border arbitration proceeding in the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in relation to disputes between a Malaysian Joint Venture Company and its German counterpart
• Junior Counsel in a defamation suit involving former Members of Parliament against local newspapers, its publishers and/or individuals
• Junior Counsel in a defamation suit for a Belgian Dregding Company against a Malaysian Developer
• Lead Counsel for Insurers in litigation involving an insurance claim by a steel drums manufacturer
• Junior Counsel in an arbitration between a Malaysian Developer and a Belgian Dregding Company in relation to disputes arising out of a reclamation project in Johor
• Junior Counsel for Insurers in litigation involving a Claim for Damages to cribwall in a local housing development project
• Junior Counsel for a French Turbine Manufacturer in litigation with Owner’s Insurance arising from the failure of a gas turbine in a power station
• Involved in Criminal Litigation including criminal suits involving drug offences, immigration matters, AMLA (Anti Money Laundering Act) amongst others
