Dato' Dr. Ang Chin Guan

Dr. Ang is a caring doctor who cares about his patients’ feelings and emotions. I was very nervous when I went to see him for PAP Smear test and he tried to help me relax and cleared my doubts.

At 34 weeks pregnant I was admitted into Sjmc for high blood pressure , Dr Ang monitored both my baby and I , to keep my baby inside as long as possible , and to keep my blood pressure under control . He monitored for 6 days (coming in on public holidays twice a day , nurses had to update him about my status every hour) . On the 6th day, I had all the symptoms of preeclampsia and hypertension , which medication could no longer control , so he decided to do an emergency csec.

He is a very experienced and calm Dr who only told me what I needed to know at the right time. I felt safe and assured despite having to go through all of this so sudden.

In a nutshell , he is a man of few words but he knows what he is doing and will show up on time when he needs to .

He is also always one step ahead - he knows what we want to ask before we even ask .
