Pleasant stay although there was stomping noise when close to late night till after 1am. Possibly coming from guests on a floor above or next door neighbours or could be others but I can't tell what was it. Requested the reception to do something and he told me that he will inform the security. But I can't tell whether there was any action taken as the noise continued for the next 2 hours. Given the hotel is so new (less than 2 years or probably 1 during my stay) there is stain on basin and shower area. Other than those, I am a happy guest. Info: There is stand fan provided in the room. There are microwave, kettle, cutlery, plates and bowls. Rm50 is required upon checking in as refundable deposit. Pls close the balcony sliding door when it is going to rain if you are going out. Else, the living hall will be wet. Breakfast package is not required as the hotel is located above a 2 level shopping mall. You can get food easily in the mall.

My family and I stayed at this relatively new hotel recently. Booking was made effortlessly over the phone. The hotel is in a commercial complex. The first 2 floors are retails outlets, but almost 70% of the lots are still not tenanted yet. The hotel occupies the 3rd to the 8th floor. The lobby is located on the 3rd floor. Our arrival was greeted by the very courteous and helpful receptionists at the lobby. Check in was a breeze. We were given a room on the highest floor with a beautiful view of the hills and vegetable farms below. The room was clean and came with the normal amenities you would expect in a hotel room ie kettle, fridge, etc. with an extra item of a microwave oven. There is a ceiling fan in the living area and a stand fan in the sleeping cubicle. All in all a a well equipped and comfortable room. Free wifi was provided and the signal was pretty strong. The only drawbacks I find was the raised floor of the living area, one an accidentally stub a toe if not careful. Also due to its 'newness' the room does emit a discernible chemical/ carpentry? odour. Breakfast spread was rather limited but the nasi lemak was quite good. The hotel is located near many tourist spots. It is within walking distance to Kea farm, butterfly farm. The junction to Sg Palas Boh/ plantation / gunning Brinchang/ Mossey Forest is directly opposite the hotel. A few food and entertainment outlets are open in the mall area, the prominent one being Old Town White Coffee. There is a steamboat restaurant, A Teh Tarik joint , a mini amusement park, a karaoke.

The check in took us more than 20 mins, staff seemed to be quite slow. However manager and hotel driver are very helpful in resolving issues. Room fully equipped with basic necessities: toiletries, slipper, kitchenette, etc. Bee farm and strawberry farm in walking distance. Eateries available right downstairs of the hotel. Overall, suitable for family and groups of friends as well.

First and foremost, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my warmest gratitude to the Nova Highlands Resort team for making my 2nd year wedding anniversary at your hotel the most memorable experience I could ever hoped for!!! Room reservation with Nana was seamless and accommodating. A special thank you to the Hotel Manager, Raemond Kam for assisting with the wedding anniversary preparations prior to arrival. Room was very spacious & clean. Everything that you possibly need in a hotel room are provided. Both check in and check our processes were very smooth and hassle free. Highly recommend others to stay in Nova Highlands Resort when visiting Cameron Highlands.
