Taman Desa Medical Centre is accepted by Perkeso as one of its panel clinics. You can visit them if you are covered by the Perkeso insurance.

I live in Taman desa. Today I took my wife to "Taman Desa Moneymaking Centre" for her ENT checkup. I showed them my medical card, they deny saying that this particular corporate is not in part of the panel. OKAY, so I asked them what will be the doctor fee like, I didn't bring much I have to rush to ATM then. They said can't say now, see doctor first. If I got to know that time I would have ran away from there. Waited like 15 mins then met Doctor NG Teck Siang. He did a checkup with pin camera and flash light and recommended a nasal spray (Nasonex). It hardly took 5 to 10 mins overall. Before we leave Doctor asked me two important questions 1. Are you local ? I said no. 2. 2 Is the bill paid by you or your company? I said from my pocket. -- God only knows his intension. Finally the bill came for 368.95 (Hospital Chargers - 113.94 and Doctor Charges 255 )I never paid so much for a basic check up !! Quiet shocking bill for me. They asked me to revisit in next 2 weeks ,.,.,.,hehe ., Should I ??

Actually they just bought the whole row of shop lots then convert them into a hospital (or medical centre, what's the difference by the way?).

I went there because of Dr Loo, she is our gynae.

the facility wise is consider ok, nothing special, but good enough for normal delivery I guess. The room and others are simple and looks old, but clean. Overall, I would rate it as OK.

Oh ya, the payment system, they really should improve it, always took me more than 30 minutes just to pay!

My relative had operation in TDMC yesterday morning. Operation was completed yesterday morning and we are expecting Dr to explain to us about patient condition. After waiting for more than 1 hours, Dr didn't come to us to explain patient condition and leave the hospital without inform us. When we approach Nurse in the hospital, we always get the standard answer "I don't know, please refer to Dr". I would like to know, Dr leave without prior notice! How are we going to refer to Dr. Nurse explanation is Urology Dr is not in house and he is rushing for other appointment. Today, my relative waited for Dr consultation until late afternoon. Meaning to say that if anything happen to my relative for past 24 hrs, no specialist can provide professional consultation. Anyway, for TDMC.

The doctor never come and check on my dad since the surgery is completed. And nurse answer is "sorry, I'm not sure when the doctor will come over." This is the worst experience that I ever had with TDMC.

Last week my friend suffered from dengue .So went clinic mediviron .They did blood test. That time the platelet count was 81000 . The doctor suggested her to admit nearer hospital TDMC . The next day we went to TDMC and ask for blood test first. They did blood test at 11:00 AM and said the platelet count was 40000 . They told my friend to join in emergency ward. She joined at 1:00 PM (That time she don't have any health problems like fever , head ache , vomiting , rashes ...). After admit , they did another blood test at 1:00 PM .Surprisingly the count was 89000. Next day morning she discharged from the hospital and paid 1700RM (for one day). I don't know , why they(TDMC) did two blood tests with in one and half hour ? Is it possible that the platelet count increased from 40000 to 89000 with in one and half hour? The receptionist (lady) at emergency ward is very arrogant and rude .
