Way more sincere, thorough and logical in his assessment than my usual specialist in private medical Centre in KL.

You’re probably reading this after seeing him in the hospital and you came out from your appointment Googling “Dr. Dharmedra Ganesan”, which is what I did too after having him as my doctor hahaha. So here I am to add my 12 out of 10 star review:

He is the loveliest doctor that I’ve ever had and met. I still think about how extremely lucky I must be to randomly have Prof Dr. Dharmendra pop up into the examination room that I was being assessed in, and I wasn’t even assigned to him as a patient that day. He is the epitome of professionalism, compassion, passion/passionate, empathy, intelligence, and balanced. He saw my MRI scan and showed so much empathy to me (probably cause I’m younger than his average patient and I was on the way to being paralyzed before I even figured out how to deal with my quarterly life crisis). I felt like he was seeing and prioritizing ME, not my MRIs, scans etc. He is very professional and he’s extremely good at what he does. I have a rare disease in addition to other disabilities/medical conditions, and doctors are usually clueless on how to treat me as I’m not part of the usual cut and dry textbook cases – but Prof. Dr. Dharmendra knew what I needed (he is extremely experienced, qualified and has done a lot of research on conditions revolving around neurosurgery), showed much care when dealing with my condition, asked me the right questions, listened to things I said outside of his questions and even matched my energy after seeing how I interacted with the doctor who was originally examining me. I can’t stress this enough, he did all of that without making me feel like a problem, he instead effortlessly made me feel like I’m a person who needs help and it was evident that he wanted to help me.

Fast forward, I’m done with my surgery, and I AM FREE OF NERVE ISSUES! Since the year 2020, I thought I’d end up paralyzed before I turned 30, but here I am regaining what I thought I had permanently lost, baby! I still have a few more years until I turn 30 and I’ll forever be grateful for that random walk by/pop up from an amazing doctor who has forever changed my life.

Btw, Prof. Dr. Dharmendra is also a pretty cool person and I honestly aspire to be as lovely as he is as a person. The world would be way better with more people like him
