Michael, LL.B (Hons) and LL.M (Hons) Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, was admitted as Barrister and Solicitor (New Zealand) in 1973, Advocate and Solicitor (Sarawak and Brunei) in 1974, and Advocate and Solicitor (Malaya) in 1978. He is one of Malaysia’s leading corporate lawyers and one of the early practitioners of the Malaysian Takeover Code. He has launched and defended some of the biggest takeover fights in Malaysian corporate history.  Michael sits on the board of a few publicly listed companies and many private companies.
