Forest Skywalk (FRIM)

Background

The Forest Skywalk is FRIM's second canopy walkway which is located at Kepong Botanic Gardens (KBG). The highest point of the structure is 141 m above sea level. The structure was built using aluminum, enforced with steel tubes and supported by guy wires. The Forest Skywalk is made up of 11 towers and 8 bridges, varying in height from 18 m to 50 m with a total length of 250 m.

From the Forest Skywalk office, you need to walk 100 m along an easy trail. Once on the skywalk, visitors can spend 30 to 40 minutes to complete the loop. The panoramic view on the Forest Skywalk will captivate attention, especially from the top of the 50 m tower.

Went here when I was forced by my best friend to join for a camp. I was so hesitated to go since I am not a camping type of person. My first experience camping in a woods with my best friend I never thought it would turn out to be one of the most memorable and best thing ever. Because we could feel the nature and the breathe-taking view of the forest. We also could enjoy the time to go for jungle trekking at night and could see the fireflies around the woods. It is recommended for those who are stress in the city and can take your time enjoying the nature instead.

I love how they reserve the forest for the people to come and enjoy the nature in the middle of the hectic city. At least we could take our time for awhile to escape from the busy life.
