I love that Dr Yap tries not to give medicine or suggest surgery unless absolutely needed. Through a friend's recommendation, I went to get a second opinion from her for my endometriosis. The first doctor I visited told me to schedule an operation as soon as possible with no alternative option of medication. But Dr Yap said no to surgery because it would result in a lot of problems when I get older and since I had no unusual pains at that time. No medication either until I waited 6 more months to see any new developments. Some time later, my cysts and fibroids shrunk after I went to a TCM. I still go back to Dr Yap once in a while to do check ups to make sure all's under control. Will always be thankful to her that I did not go ahead with that surgery that could have caused more issues. So for good honest opinions and treatment, I would highly recommend Dr Yap.
