Dr. Tee Meng Hun

Dr. Tee Meng Hun commenced his practice at KPJ Perdana Specialist Hospital as Consultant Cardiologist effective in August 2008. He was graduated from University Science Malaysia (USM) in 1994 and obtained his Master in Medicine (Internal Medicine) from USM in 2002. He has completed the Cardiology Fellowship in 2005 and the Advanced Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in 2006 from Cardiology Division, HUSM. Dr. Tee is fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council and was accredited as Physician and Cardiology by the National Specialist Register in 2009. Besides, he is a Member of Malaysian Society of Hypertension and Malaysian Interventional Cardiology Society. Dr. Tee was a Lecturer and Physician in the Medical Department, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia from 2002 until 2005. He has more than 20 years of experience in Government and University Hospitals. He is proficient in invasive cardiology investigations and procedures including diagnostic cardiac catheterization, diagnostic angiograms, therapeutic angioplasty, temporary and permanent pacemaker implantation, automated implantable cardiac defibrillator implantation, cardiac resynchronization therapy and grown up congenital heart disease device implantation. He has also been involved with numerous clinical trials, both internationally and locally. He is also involved with teaching of both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He has been diligent in keeping abreast with new developments in Cardiology and has been active in attending and speaking at “continuing professional development” courses.
