This doctor is not good though. He will just push you to c sec and be aware guys. Please don’t go to him.

I was very comfortable with my gynae Dr. Dev Kumar Menon. Dr. Menon is a very cheerful and bubbly doctor. Even as you step into his room, you can already hear him calling out your name and greeting you with a big smile on his face. He's friendly, confident, very experienced, and pays attention to all your needs and problems. Best of all, he doesn't criticize or pass remarks about you. I've heard a lot of stories about some gynaes being rude to their patients, or so busy that they don't have much time for you. Dr. Menon made sure that you were alright before letting you out of his room. And for that kind of service, I didn't mind paying the extra.

my friend was recently diagnosed with PCOS... funny thing was she visited 2 'quite famous' gynaes and they failed to diagnose it. It wasn't until she visited Dr Dev Menon in Tropicana Medical Centre that she was correctly diagnosed. The doc is recommending her to do a laproscopy to get the problem over and done with. He further said can have 3 options - medication, injection or the surgery. And he was very very nice and chatty, taking his time to explain from head to toe on what to expect. I was there, so I can bear witness to his helpfulness and professionalism. And don't worry, Dr Menon says PCOS is easily treatable and once treated, provided you don't have other problems like partner's sperm count, etc.. getting pregnanct within 6 months after that should be no problem. =)

Like Escudo, I delivered my gal under Dr. Vignes as well and I thought he is supportive to natural birth and breastfeeding? Don't think he'll suggest c-sec unless you have some complication. I have an induced delivery bcoz i have already dilated but show no sign of contraction. Plus am already overdue at that time.

I was with Dr. Vigneswaran also for both of my pregnancies, and he is very supportive with natural birth, except for my 2nd baby, since I was bleeding already which was why he suggested c-sec.

I am now close to 18 weeks pregnant and have been with Dr. Vigneswaran since the beginning. But I feel that he is more supportive in C-sect rather than natural birth.
