Yamaha headquarters of Malaysia. They offer music lessons and sell a variety of musical instruments. For those who intend to pursue a diploma in music, Yamaha Academy of Arts and Music is situated within the same building.

Went here for guitar lessons. It was pretty much effective (if you keep practicing). I could start to play guitar on my own for only 3 months.

I would like to congratulate all those involved directly or indirectly of Yamaha Farlim Penang (the front desk ladies such as Ms Anna &Ms Angie for their ever willingness to lend a hand& sweet broad smile) & of course not forgetting Ms Teoh;the most loved &dedicated violin teacher for organising such a superb fantastic String Ensemble Music at Penang Pac on 13 December 2015.Thumb up!! Keep up the great job. Thanks again ;Ms Teoh, for inspiring & motivating young musicians of tomorrow-unleashing their talents in music especially violin. For my child; she simply adores you. You are her inspiration & idol when it comes to violin. She actually fell in love with the teacher first before violin. It was like love at first sight. Thanks Ms Teoh! A zillion thanks for your gentleness, patience, dedication & love. With love,Mrs Lim (Lim Zenying's mother)

For my first purchase of Clavinova from Yamaha Kelana Jaya, I was told that there was a free installation. I was surprised that only two persons delivered the piano to my house. They i.e movers and Yamaha sales personnel told me that I should have informed them earlier if I needed them to move it to the second floor. But I was not asked about this request/information during the purchase. I subsequently emailed my compliant to the Yamaha email address and there was no reply. So, I called up En Noor Aliff the sales staff who serviced my purchase. He said he will check with the movers to arrange for it to be moved upstairs but he never call me back for the past 1 week and the piano is still not upstairs. Everytime I called the office, I was informed that Aliff is busy attending to a customer. I have no doubt that Yamaha products are still good but in reality, good products and service go hand in hand in a musical relationship. Although some can say that it is their passion to work for Yamaha, I honestly doubt they are sincere in sharing their passion to customer service. In fact, there are a lot of dead wood employed by Yamaha Malaysia. Everyone who received my call at Yamaha asked to transfer the call to Aliff. If new customers have a choice of buying non-Yamaha products, I would suggest them to look else where for better service.
