The one I've tried in my buddy's home was produced in the Czech, very similar to the Scholze (from Petrof).  Overall, good quality tone (warm), lovely touch. A little heavy but after some adjustment by the tech, it played wonderful.
Recently, I played on Wagner (made in China). IMO, it is one of the very best I have seen from China. In terms of the tone/touch/price, I prefer the Wagner over the Indonesian Yamaha N Kawai.
Anyways, what is important is you must find the piano that feels good, sounds good. And a best dealer support before you buy it....

I have played several Wagner vertical pianos which had been subjected to considerable use. They are a very moderately priced Asian made piano. The instruments that I played were inferior to comparable models by Kawai and Yamaha.
