This school is an epitome of a nightmare in the daytime. Firstly, the learning environment. The students are constantly divided and pitted against each other (and most of the time, its because of the teachers). The "smarter" students are put on a pedestal where they act as a comparison point and this causes hostility amongst the students in and out of the same class. A mindset is being embedded and encouraged in where if u dont meet the mark/achieve the same as the smart students, you can't make it in life or in anywhere. These people are treated the worse by the teachers. Some of the teachers teach as though its just a way to get money - no passion, no care in whether their students understand - just as long as they get their paycheck. As a result, students are usually left for dead and have to resort to seeking help from others. Next, the teachers. The teachers gave more PTSD to the leaving students than they did knowledge. The gossip that happens amongst the teachers about students include the students and their actions, as well as the students private lives. There is so much unprofessionalism in the teachers conduct - biasness in teaching, in choosing participants for competitions, in giving care etc. The teachers in this school DO NOT encourage students to give their own opinions BUT push for an environment where students have to follow whatever the teachers say even if its questionable. One the male teachers are executing borderline predatory behaviour on the girls - inappropriately calling them pet names, making sexual jokes - HOWEVER, not one teacher and the higher ups are willing to take action because "its normal for him to act that way". Let's take note of the fact that this is a girls school, where women are taught to be empowered and independent and guaranteed a safe and free education. However, isnt it hypocritical that this is the same school that enforces predatory behaviour? Not only that, but the discipline teacher would grill prefects as though they were slaves - asking them to do tasks that are not even included in usual prefectorial tasks. The mood swings that happen daily where she takes her anger out on them (even when there's nothing wrong, alongside unprofessionalism that goes on where she favours certain members of the prefects board and proceeds to pinpoint mistakes on the unfavoured ones - making them take the blame and humiliating them. Besides that, the teachers here would comment on student's looks, calling out if people were slightly chubbier or dark-skinned or short, and proceed to make fun of them (possibly humiliating them infront of others too). Last but not least, the food. Although the canteen has been through renovations, the food quality has (sadly) not been improved. The portion set is barely enough to last one through the day but they're charging it for such an expensive price. Meat dishes usually consists of 90% bones and 10% meat. Food here is like a luxury as they constantly run out of it for every recess and students that do not have the chance to buy, are left to starve as there is no food left. In a nutshell, this school (although alumni from YEARS back) had a good reputation however, it does not in any way live up to that reputation. Please do not send your kids here unless you want them to suffer from body dysmorphia and trauma. All these may seem exaggerated but it is sadly real, as I (and many others) was the victim of the teachers emotional end. To wrap up, I'm not saying that this school is the only one that isn't perfect, rather this is a warning of what you will experience whilst enrolled in this school.

(Shoutout to Mdm. Monica, Mdm. Teh, Mdm. Elenser, Mdm Ivy, Mdm Chong (both), Miss Celestea, Miss Phang, Mr Foo and Mr Krishsen. Thank you for being the only comfort and joy (and quality teaching) in this school)
