Gynae is very experienced and will not simply suggest surgery unless necessary.Did my ceaserean with Dr Chia at Sunway Hospital thru clinic booking.Smooth delivery and gynae is very comforting.does not create unnecessary pressure to mommies. Apps is very convenient to book slot and check queue.Walk in if time slot full , average half an hour waiting time.Charges is consistent throughout pregnancy and no overcharge.

we headed to Klinik Pusat Pakar Wanita Chia dan Loo. We were recommended this clinic by a colleague. We later found out a couple of our other colleagues also go to Chia and Loo for check ups. There are two gynaes there; Chia and Loo. Personally, I prefer Dr Chia Chee Peng as hes very friendly and very honest. Dr Loo King Yoon is perfectly fine but I guess our connection was more with Chia. Actually, both doctors are great in their own way. Weve been seeing a lot of Dr Chia because our slots matched his but we had the opportunity to meet with Dr Loo again yesterday and it was a great meet up! Dr Chia was a face that will light up the room. He is constantly smiling, always honest and almost a no nonsense guy. Dr Loo is very patient, never quick, explains every single step he does and almost a very fatherly figure. I am glad we have two very good doctors in this clinic so even if we have the see the other, its totally fine because they are both great. The price is rather affordable. Our last check up that consists of standard check up, ultrasound (plus soft copy of images AND video), iron pills and calcium tablets costs us about RM90! So much cheaper than Columbia Asia. **Update: The charges are now RM130. Is it still lower then everywhere else?** With Chia and Loo, you get admission to Columbia Asia, Sunway Medical Centre, Taman Desa Medical Centre, SDMC and a few more that I cant remember. They will be with you so you can still decide which hospital to go to later. Price wise for delivery, well, I am not quite there yet. Between the two, I prefer going to Chia and Loo. For starters, Chia and Loo opens after work hours too so we dont have to take leave to go in the mornings. They open from 6 – 8pm. You can call just before to make an appointment. You cant schedule an appointment earlier; you can only do it on the day itself. Otherwise, just go at about 5.45pm and wait. If you go early, you get to be the first few. I went at about 6pm one day and I was number 6 on the waiting list. Secondly, the price is affordable for us as we really do not intend to spend more than RM100 is possible. These are the two gynaes that I have had the experience with.
