In the Auditor Report of 2014, Jabatan Perkhidmatan Veterinar was rated 'Good' in the section of Accountability Index Rating, with the score of 84.19 out of 100.

First brought my cat here since one of her eyes was infected and had to be taken out, so instead of a private vet, took her here, and honestly cannot imagine a better service from a government establishment. Registration was fast, the operation was done the next day as the cat needed to fast overnight before the operation, and we could take her back the next day, inclusive of medicine. I do not remember the cost but could not be more than RM80 thereabouts. Staff was friendly, service was fast and the place was okay. Same level of competent service when I took my cats here thereafter.
