The Sepia-toned Store
Metrojaya is another part of my childhood that I could recall easily. Just like how Parkson was my mother's favourite, Metrojaya is my father's favourite. The oddest thing about this place is that all my memories of this place, even as teenager, seems to be in sepia tone. Was it the lighting? Anyway, this place is actually more of a formal-wear department store from what I've noticed.
Anything from shirts to leather shoes, it seems to be cheaper here than other places. Moreover, there are more options when it comes to formal-wear here. My first leather wallet was bought here for RM50. I have to admit, it did feel awkward since I was used to velcro wallets but it was a change for the better.
