International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)

No matter what course you are taking, you will have to learn Islamic subjects along with your course's subjects. They will also instill Islamic values in certain subjects. It is an Islamic university anyway. If you're not willing to take Islamic subjects, this is not a suitable place for you. But UIA is not all about Islamic stuff all the time. Not all UIA students will come out being an ustaz/ustazah. They also have arts center in the university called Citra. They have many arts performing clubs under Citra. Theatre club, dance club, and mostly music clubs. The environment is great. It is an environment you can never found once you graduate. The lecturers are great but some management office *inappropriate words*. Some rule *inappropriate words* too. Another thing about UIA is they just love to issue compound to students. Getting lost in UIA is a normal thing. You can just ask around. The food in UIA are mostly way cheaper than the food outside. And usually the cafes in brother's mahallah are better than the one in sister's mahallah. Hope this helps!

UIAM is huge but the buildings are interlink which makes it easier for you to go from one building to another. Some of the toilets and classes are not in a good condition. There are lots of cafes offering various type of cuisine, be it local or international. Lots of hostels and shuttle buses are available. Some of the staffs are not friendly. The lecturers there are amazing, knowledgeable, possess lots of experience and they have produce many notable researches/works. UIAM is packed with students activities and the general public can also take part in the events organised by the students' association.

Best environment. best islamic surroundings. And the university have a strong prioritize and focusing on arabic and english.
