My experience with BM Hospital has been very positive over the years. It started 4-5 years ago when I accompanied my father-in-law to the eye clinic for his eye problem. He had both his eye cataract surgery done in this hospital. Recently I had to accompany my wife to the ENT clinic due to some sinus and nose bleeding issue. I find the staff, nurse and doctors/specialist in both clinic and ward to be very helpful and patient despite the huge number of patients there on a daily basis. The specialists took the time to explain the issue in detail unlike the experience we had in private hospital where most doctors are very impatient or unwilling to share the details of diagnosis. For those who complain about the long wait, I can assure you the wait at private hospital is equally long. Bear in mind, public hospital is almost free in Malaysia (except for the minimal amount for registration). If we can get equally good nursing and medical care then there is no reason to complain. Just my opinion from my own experience.

I think the hospital staff especially the girls who collects the money should be more efficient. Stop talking n laughing n get their job done, just to collect rm 1 you need 2 staff .... one should do it. 2 staff talk n talk laughing with others. Not doing their work... ... and making us wait just to pay rm1. They will only collect payment after they have finished laughing n talking....

Generally, the doctors and nurses are caring and good. However, today's experience left an undesirable impression on the young doctor. How could a doctor not see the patient for new complication that arises in consuming the dangerous drug? All he does is sit in the room, never calls my mother into the room for check-up but just write instruction to continue using the drug and pass the medic card back to the nurse to be handed back to us? Why? Is the doctor too proud now to see a patient? There was no other patient in line to see the doctor. My mother said he was busy using his smartphone when she walked in on him earlier, to be instructed to sit outside and wait... Wake up. If you want to be a doctor, be a kind doctor. Lives are in your hands.
