There may be a concern that their social life may be affected and they will have problems developing social skills, said Dr Lai.

Dr Lai Fong Hwa, a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist at Hospital Penang meanwhile said the boredom youth felt these days could be attributed to an over-stimulated lifestyle and added, From the time they wake up, kids today are exposed to the television, computers and other digital devices until they go to bed.
