Dr. Ian Ping Wee Yen

I am very, very appreciative to have met Dr. Ian at SMCV.

On July 25, my baby Rou was admitted because of a fever, red eyes, and rash, and Dr. Ian became our attending doctor.

After a few panel checks, my baby Rou was just diagnosed with Scarlet Fever, and Dr. Ian was very patient and used his expertise to explain everything to us. All the treatment was going well until she was discharged from the hospital.

After being discharged from the hospital, I didn't expect my baby to have a fever again. We immediately contacted Dr. Ian. Dr. Ian also asked us to take the baby to the hospital for a check-up. Although we didn't have an appointment, Dr. Ian also consulted our baby immediately & express. After a blood test, my baby was diagnosed with Incomplete Kawasaki disease.

Dr. Ian immediately helped us arrange a single-room ward, and he also took good care of our baby. Any details were explained very clearly and fully with patience. Just as I was about to find a consultant for my mild depression, Dr. Ian told us that everything would be fine.

We thank him very, very much.

Dr Ian is great. Experienced and confident and will go to great lengths to give my kids the best experience. If he doesn't have too many patients, he is happy to spend more time explaining and chatting to parents. Learnt a lot of professional tips from him on how to give my kids medication the most pain-free way (for mummy as well as baby!) Always appreciate his friendliness and his affordable fees. He's getting more popular so waiting time might be slightly longer during busy times, but I don't mind waiting because I know he's giving his best to every patient and to us when it's our turn.

Dr. Ian is my preferred Pediatrician since my 1st child born at Assunta hospital. We followed him to Sunway Velocity Medical Centre when he joined SVMC. He is very friendly, caring, knowledgeable, trustable and passionate in his profession. Really appreciate his accurate diagnosis, affordable and reasonable charge each time. Highly recommended.

Dr Ian is very good and caring. He’s very knowledgeable and will carefully examine your child on every visit. He’s great!

There is no word to describe our gratitude to Dr. Ian, for saving our daughter despite she was a transferred patient from another "high end" hospital in Kepong, KL. That "high end" hospital diagnosed my daughter with all sort of possible illness but none of it was correct! And worst my daughter was treated wrongly and she had to suffer 10 days!

Luckily Dr. Ian was willing to accept and cure our daughter, and now our daughter is recovering!

Dr. Ian's competency and professionalism are top notch!
