Taking 3 hours to respond to an emergency which the nurse had indicated concerns related to chest pain associated with giddiness and uncontrolled hypension ( which is appropriate ) is unacceptable. To dismiss it as a White Coatt neither removes the sinister spectre if chest pain of allay any concerns regarding stroke. Such behavior is rude, boorish, and unbecoming and perilously ignores the wise counsel of the Nurse. I agree that the previous review is focused on the NHAM ( National Heart Association of Malaysia ) which certainly does not assert in any way that Dr Hendrick Chia is either good doctor or not . An astute observation, . Dr Arrifin ( Columbia Asia ) Dr Rashid MSH ( Malaysian Society Hypertension ) are certainly not Interventionsl Cardiologists by MOH. It’s obvious that in the cases above and many others, the NHAM is not a badge of excellence in Interventional Cardiology.

Dr Chia took about 3 hours to get to my Aunt and dismissively told her that she has white collar syndrome without performing any sort of diagnosis. This after the nurses attending were very worried she was showing signs of a stroke (high BPM, chest pains and giddiness). Dr Hedrick Chia did not want to admit her for further observation which is potentially fatal if he was wrong.

The previous review seems to be more focus NHAM and does not assert Dr Hendrick Chia is a good doctor just because he is associated with that association.

NHAM has also contributed to teaching and training in cardiology. DR. HENDRICK CHIA MIAH YANG is a Member of the National Heart Association of Malaysia (NHAM). NHAM is also the history of the growth and development of cardiology as a specialty in the country.
