About Dr. Chin Kel Vin

Biographical Sketch:

Dr. Chin is currently a consultant ophthalmologist and vitreo-retinal surgeon at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital. Dr. Chin obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta in 1999. He subsequently completed his postgraduate training in Ophthalmology at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2008. He then did his subspeciality training in vitreo-retinal surgery at Hospital Selayang and Westmead Hospital in Sydney, Australia. Upon his return to Malaysia in 2014, he was awarded the Malaysian Certificate of Completion in Fellowship Training (CCFT) in vitreo-retinal surgery by the Malaysian Ministry of Health.
