Went to see her because of the many good reviews read online. Honestly was put off from the beginning. Her appointments do not have any meaning. They give you a time but its still first come first serve. So wait times are very long.

Consultations are very long winded with her lecturing and constantly berating weight (ps I am an athlete but she only focuses on BMI so even though I am a size 8/10 she keeps telling me I am overweight and need to control my food (I eat planned meals FYI).

She kept scaring me about my weight and sugar levels saying I will get diabetes stressing me out constantly. Btw blood test results showed sugar was at optimal level in every way. Hahaha..

Not everything was bad. She was knowledgeable and answered questions but she is not the kind of doctor who asks the patient questions rather choosing to read off the charts and make her assumptions.

For example she never asked how I was or what symptoms i was having. Rather she still down, looks at her previous notes and straight goes into what she thinks the patient is doing /has done.

She did identify some areas to improve and I d o appreciate that.

Overall I would say she is a meticulous and careful doctor. However if you want to be taken care of, she may be too busy for that. Her 24 hrs WhatsApp line meant for patients is frankly quite disorganised.

For mothers who need a technical doctor she might be suitable. Just don't expect a happy, stress free environment.

She is knowledgeable and can spot issues. While she is technically sound, her bedside manner which is frankly demotivating and robotic put me so off that I switched doctors in my 5th month for my mental health!

The waiting times are horrible as she is always busy so expect to wait for 3 to 4 hours even with an appointment. Her nurse is really poor at managing this.

Prices have definitely gone up with consultation and scans being about rm200 ish per visit.

She is one of the highly recommended doctor in town. She is very friednly, we can see her wit a smile all the time. By smilling she make her patients calm and comfortable with her. She is a doctor which are available anytime and she wil be anytime at the hospital during her patients delivery.

Our gynae, Dr Cecilia Wong was also very helpful during the whole process. She kept on encouraging me and saying that I was doing very well and I was this close to finally see my baby face to face. It somehow helped me to endure the pain when I felt like giving up. But that's it, baby just decided to go out and I started crying because of the excruciating pain which I couldn't handle anymore. Liam was just beside me the whole time, holding my hand and feeling helpless.

I recently delivered a beautiful, healthy baby girl at Assunta Hospital with Dr Cecilia Wong and I highly recommend her and her team, reasons being: 1. Affordable consultation fee, Rm60. The only downside is one has to wait about 2 hours to see her because she spends a lot of time with each patient which is ironically also the plus point. Being clueless first time parents, she answered even the most ridiculous question of ours patiently. Ultrasound cost Rm90. She is friendly and sisterly, after the first session it was as if we had known her for quite some time. 2. Our final bill after delivery came up at Rm3600 (Rm3k for mother and Rm600 for baby). Normal delivery, single room, no epidural. 3. Midwife and nurses are very helpful and supportive. Having very low threshold of pain I admit I was being a bit difficult (at that time, I was asking myself why did I get pregnant in the first place hehe), but they were very patient, letting me take my personal time. I can write an entire essay of all the things the team did to make me feel comfortable but just take my word for it. When it was time for me to be discharged, the midwife and nurses came to say goodbye personally even though they were taking care of another patient in labor. Thats how genuine their care for the patients are.
