Berjaya Langkawi Resort

We stayed for 3 nights for a short vacation. We had a stress free stay thanks to the efficiency of the shuttle service and the helpfulness of staff. That is all we were looking for a stress free stay. Receiving a birthday cake from the hotel was a nice surprise. We had help in carrying our bags to our room which was like three flights of hillside stairs and again help in carrying our bags out when we checked out. We would definitely consider staying at this hotel again if we are going to Langkawi again.

I just came back from visiting this resort today. The property is huge but it's ok cos there're little shuttle buses, so lazy people like me don't have to walk. Reading other reviews regarding the noise of the bus, it didn't bother me at all, in fact, I can't even hear it. We stayed at room 1152 and that's almost all the way to the end. Ain't nobody got time to walk, shuttle pls! My husband and I were delighted to receive such excellent service from all the staff. They were all pleasant and smiling at any time of the day. The rooms were modern and very clean and so was the balcony despite the room being in the rainforest. You would expect creepy crawlies but I didn't see any. Keep the balcony doors closed tho or the monkeys may steal your stuff. The resort had many restaurants but we only went to the main buffet restaurant and the Beach Restaurant. The Beach Restaurant served good and fresh seafood and Indian fusion mix. Yummy. The dinner buffet was themed daily so we had BBQ. Not too bad too. Not the cheapest but it's hotel price unless u want to drive out. Basically, we were there to do absolutely nothing and absolutely nothing we did. My husband did not move from the sunken pool bar from 4pm till 9pm and even made friends with other travellers, while I lazed and blobbed around the sun lounger. In summary, great trip. Kudos to the staff.
