We just had a very bad n unpleasant experience with them for the request to transfer my mom from there to UH. The doctor who in-charge my mom case can changed his statement within 24 hours. The reason we want to transfer is also after 2 weeks of treatment, my mom still need to breathe with Nasal Tube and the information given by the Doctor who overall in-charge of my mom case & the information by the Lung Specialist r totally different. The first one said her Lung issue is the main concern but the 2nd one said her Lung Infection is cleared.

We are entering end of the second week stay here. Apart from the first few days at the HDU, the rest of this time is at Mariam ward. The nurses are nice and a few are very compassionate and caring. The big disappointment is there seem to be zero consideration of the noise level and bright lights turning on and off even late into the nights. The nurses talk and move things around without any care for noise levels. There is constant noise from loud phone calls at the nurses station, talking loudly to each other and patients, moving furniture and equipment around. Seems like there is just no thought put into the noise levels. The nurses don't seem to care that they wake patients up or startle them. Just before I wrote this feedback, it was past midnight and the was loud noises and bright lights next to us. The nurses talked loudly. So I went out to remind them it's late. They said sorry and then a second later, you hear the commotion out at the corridor. Three other patients have complained about this. I honestly believe the nurses are not doing this on purpose but they are poorly trained in this aspect. The phone is ringing really loudly, we are all woken in the ward here. The nurses are shouting across the corridor to each other, the door alarm is ringing and the bed they are moving hits the wall and makes this loud thump. Seriously, this is a minus 30 points in relation to the good stuff like kind/ skilled doctors and compassionate nurses. Bring this to the awareness and best practice of your nurses on night shifts, please.

Apart of comfortable room, nurses are friendly. You just need to keep up with a good system when patient want to check out. Waited 3hrs just to make payment but end up nurses didnt call us in wards and we ourselves went down to make payment. You should inform us that its ready to make payment instead just let us waiting for 3hrs. Other than that, it's excellent. TQ all staff nurse and doctor

Wonderful doctors and nurses. Fat hope expecting this from other private hospitals in Malaysia. But the HR of Assunta better look after the well being of their nurses, there's a wave of very very good dedicated nurses leaving Assunta and this is very unacceptable. Nurses are end of the line in customer service and the Assunta management has been screwing things up since roughly 2 years ago!

An assessment should be done on doctors' on duty at the Emergency dept. On 18 Feb, Saturday 11pm I went in to the Triage/Emergency dept with severe vomiting and diarrhoea. At 31+ wks pregnant and I wasn't given an immediate attention but that was OK. The nurse thought I could wait, well, fine as my condition may be better than those waiting that night, I was weak and only vomiting away in plastic bags and rushing to the toilet frequently that night but wasn't the main highlight. Finally I was attended by a doctor at the Emergency, I was given some meds, was put on drips and given some jabs thru the IV, did a CTG and went home. They scheduled an appt with my Gynae on Monday, I counted my blessings to hv shown my Gynae the meds prescribed by the doctor at Emergency, which to my surprise, 1 weren't safe for consumption during pregnancy. The others weren't necessary hence I was told to stop all 3 types of meds. I mean, the important point is, your doctor on duty, esp at the Triage/Emergency, should be well trained, as they might be dealing with life and death situations, no? How can the doctor not know certain meds are not safe for pregnancy? And I have taken them for 2 days. Very very upset and the management should take this seriously on reassessing the doctors' qualifications. Not just place any body at the Emergency.
