Background
Claim businessYSPM was originally mooted in late 2013 at a meeting of leaders of Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) of schools in Putrajaya. They were desirous of setting up a foundation to carry out activities to complement the efforts of the government of Malaysia to further lift the standard of education in Malaysia as outlined in the Plan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia 2013-2025 (PPPM 2013-2025).
Mission
To improve the overall performance of student in the rural areas, in the interiors and urban poor schools by empowering the Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs)
Objectives
ASSIST PARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATIONS (PTAs)
To assist PTAs of schools in the rural areas, in the interiors and urban poor schools by providing expertise, equipment and special programmes
ENHANCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF PTAs
To enhance the knowledge and skills of the leaderships of PTAs of schools in the rural areas, in the interiors and urban poor schools
DEVELOP SMART PARTNERSHIPS
To develop smart partnerships to benefit PTAs of schools in the rural areas, in the interiors and urban poor schools
SEEK FUNDING
To continuously seek funding to sustain the vision and mission of YSPM
