We had a good experience visiting UMSC starting from registration counter, consulting with doctor and admission/discharge etc. We met with Professor Dr Sanjiv Mahadeva and he is very reasonable and nice guy. The staff working there is quite good, wards are neat and clean. I feel this hospital is much better compare to any other private hospital for any kind of medical treatment. The only downside I can see is that doctors are not available in OPD everyday- mostly twice or trice in a week only.

I do my scoliosis surgery in this hospital. The doctor i was with was very informative on explaining what my desease is and what option do i have. He even gave me a book explaining what do i have to do and don't do after the surgery. (And it's a complete guide for the next 1 year after the surgery). Very professional.

All prof, doctor and nurses are very responsible. I'm a scoliosis patient, done operation on 2013. They provided good service but nurses are quite rude sometime. During 2018, I fall in an accident again, back to UMSC again, I found out the service improved, all the nurses much more patient and caring. They will understand your pain and try their best to be soft. Changed a lot. Very good service. Doctor there are the best, they visit everyday, and the operation always successful. Feel very secure. They are so understanding n responsible. Super impressed by the team led by Prof Kwan and Prof Chris. They are extremely dedicated, experienced and professional. They gave me confidence and trust that I felt so determined to undergo this surgery.

My mother received treatment for spinal injury in UMSC from 2nd March 2018 until 9th March 2018. Prior to that, she was in UMMC for almost 2 months. In UMMC and UMSC, my mother was under the care of the Spine Team, lead by Prof Chris and Prof Kwan, and rest of the team. I have nothing bad to say about the hospital and the Spine team - only compliments and gratitude for them. The specialists were caring and compassionate, always maintained high professionalism and communicated with us in ways we could comprehend. The nurses, admin staffs and porters were attentive, friendly and helpful. The ward was always clean and comfortable too. We are so glad that we chose PPUM/UMSC for our mother's treatment. God bless!

Was scheduled for mri at 6.30pm but Had to wait for 1 and a half hours do to my MRI, I was the last patient despite being there at 6.15pm and after that have to wait for 20mins for a shuttle to send me back to umsc . Reached umsc 9.20pm. Feel so exhausted. Staff in ummc was not pleasant at all. Radiographer was nice and Specialist who treated me was also nice.

You may need to wait for a long time even if you have made an appointment. Appointment made but had waited for more than 2 hours.

Doctors are the reason for me to come to this hospital. Staff are helpful but does not have consideration for customers, having loud conversations amongst themselves. But the procedures are troublesome and not user friendly. Price structure is private. I rate this hospital a wanabe private hospital with a public hospital mentality. Please improve!

Good service, good doctors and very welcoming people. The nurses however do need some training for dealing with international people however, deserves 5 star.
