Went to the klia2 branch for a massage before catching my flight today and the experience was unpleasant. I chose the 90min traditional Thai massage. The staff at the reception was friendly. However, the massage was awful and unprofessional. In the beginning it was still bearable but the masseuse started to slack off in the middle. The masseuse suddenly stopped mid-way without informing (she might have assumed that I had fallen asleep) and only continue after I slightly moved. I can tell that she slacked off as she took shorter time to do the left side of my arm compare to my right. I felt suffocated as well when she was massage my back as she seem to just want to get it over and done with. Moreover, she went off for more than 10min and came back saying that she went to grab hot towels. It was an overall bad experience and waste of money. I would not stop by there for a massage again before my flight as it made me felt horrible

A massage with lasting effects! Thank you for an incredibly relaxing and therapeutic session. As a Telecommunication Technician, I spend most of my time walking. Annie was able to find and manipulate spots that I didn't realise were affecting me. Post massage my body felt less tense, more flexible and I noticed improvement in my posture. Annie is professional with a firm yet gentle touch. I also found the environment to be calming and positive. I highly recommend you visit Thai Odyssey for your next massage. Special thank to Fatin and the Team for helping me with the advanced booking.

I went to Sunway Giza branch The place was small but it looks nice The receptionist was so kind and helpful She explain me about the treatments they have I get a traditional thai massage, I recommend it for people who can do stretching But for people that have problems with muscle stretch i think better pick the aromatherapy one My body feels light after the massage Definitely will come again when i visit Malaysia

Worst massage ever, very unprofessional. Went with my friend for 1 hour full body massage at Thai Odyssey Fahrenheit 88 (Kuala Lumpur) - I opted for the thai massage, my friend opted for the aromatic oil massage, we had the massage separately in different rooms. Both of us felt that it was a horrible experience. When both of us reached, we noticed that the receptionist was totally not friendly, and even looked very annoyed at us. We noticed that her attitude was totally different when we went down to make the booking (very polite, friendly and smiley). She quickly collected money from us and ushered us hastily to the place to wash our feet. She did not provide receipt to us, so i asked her about it, and she replied harshly that it will be provided after the massage. My masseuse was terrible. She did a sloppy job in massaging me. I was supposed to have thai massage, i. e. with good pressure on my joints, but it felt like she was just carrying out the steps to get it over and done with. Worse, she left the room twice, leaving me in the room alone for like 10 minutes each time. First time she said she's going to the toilet, the second time I couldn't catch what she said. Extremely unprofessional. I thought that she was going to make up for the lost time for the time that she was missing in action, but NO, she just ended on time. So I was shortchanged of 20 minutes of the massage timing, meaning to say my 60 minutes massage became a 40 minutes massage. This meant that she didn't complete the massage for me for each part, like each body part she just touched and go. My friend's masseuse was also terrible. He said the entire time he just felt like the masseuse just want to hasten the process and end it and go home. And his massage was supposed to be the relaxing oil massage. After both of our massage ended, the staff just quickly ushered us to wear our shoes. One of the staff just stuffed (yes pushed) the receipt into my hands and they all quickly greeted us goodbye. We felt like we wasted our time and money on this experience. It's not even cheap, we spent RM256 in total for this. Not relaxing, extremely rude service, unprofessional staff, I felt like I've just paid money to be tortured. Horrible experience. If you do not wish to entertain customers or simply do your job well, you should not even be in the spa industry.

To the higher management, I am not sure how good it's your service are till there are no reply from your customers service. I have been waiting for your revert since 22May18 and untill now I don't even get any email and which only through Tele-communication to get back. Emailed sent on 22May18 "I have called up the JB City Square branch to check for my balance package used. It is a shock as I was being told that my package is expired. Said this is a promotion package which is valid for a year. I signed up this package 25Dec2016 and not that I know there is a validity and not being informed when I sign this package up. As I remembered I did ask "It's there any expire" as there are NO then only I sign it on or else I won't be signing it up. And if I not calling up to check, I won't be notified then. The girl (Mira) told me she will need to check whether can extend it and get back in 7 working days. ? Do this kind of cases need to take 7 working days to check? It's not a good customer service response. As a customer, I don't think it is a right way and it is considered dishonest business tactic use. " Did went down the JB City Square branch and staff told me will email about the voucher for my package extension, till now no reply at all. No matter how good branding your are, once you broke the trust of your customer, there are no second time!

Having been to many massage places in Malaysia (Holistic Esthetics, Healthland, to name a few) and done thai massages in Thailand, I can safely conclude that Thai Odyssey is the worst. Today, I decided to find out what the hype with Thai Odyssey is about and why the high prices, so I booked a 90 mins traditional thai massage at Thai Odyssey 1 Mont Kiara - stupidest decision ever. In the end, I wasted 90 mins and RM150. Should have donated the RM150 instead. After the 'massage', my body feels the same as before the massage, stiff and tried, and with pain! My body was not rejuvenated or energized, only pain! The masseur clearly was not trained for traditional thai massage, as her techniques were more like Tui Na, where she keeps using her sharp elbow to press the acupuncture points on my back, legs and shoulder. It was so painful that I squeezed the pillow and mattress so hard! The only 'massage' was when she rubbed my back and shoulder for like 5 seconds, without applying any force. This is the first time I didn't hear any "cluck' sound during message so you can tell my muscles were not relaxed at all. If you say thai massage is about stretching, I can tell you that there were only 3 brief stretching pose throughout 90 mins. I told the staff at the counter about my experience immediately after the massage, and she just laughed awkwardly and took my payment of RM150. I paid RM150 for 90 mins of pain! I had to go to another massage place to rejuvenate and spend another sum. Lesson of the day : Avoid Thai Odyssey at all costs!!!

I rarely do reviews & recommendations in fb. But I must say. This is my favourite Spa & Massage go-to at home. Each time I visit Thai Odessey Holiday Villa Hotel for my regular massage, the experience & environment brings much joy & relaxation, from top-notch customer service at the front desk to the smiling masseurs & professional skilled massage therapy, consistent at every visit. At each visit, as a happy customer, I wondered to myself who is the brain, founder & Ceo of this group who has successfully build such high standards in this industry from the design, luxury settings of the environment, standardised procedures, staffs customer service & skillful therapists. Today, not only have I met him in person, he was the one who draw my name and handed me the grand prize. We had a chat after the party, I am impressed by this humble CEO who appreciates & kept thanking his great team, who displays hands-on customer service attitude which I believe this is a culture that models from the top right down to every staff level. Highly recommended to all my friends for a relaxing therapy. I wish them a great success in this IPO listing

I'm a regular Thai Odyssey customer but had a very unpleasant experience yesterday Friday 5th January 2018 at the Bangsar Village II (3rd floor outlet). I have 2 friends visiting from South Africa and wanted to treat them to a nice massage, so I booked 3 slots for 90 minutes aromatherapy at 2.30pm. When we were running late I called to ask to change the slot to 4.30pm to which the girl at the front desk said they can only accommodate 2 persons for 90mins and the other for only 60mins, to which I agreed. We got there around 4.35, and after going into our separate rooms and changing, my masseuse told me to wait for 5 minutes. I kept looking at the wall clock and at 5pm when she still hasnt come I stormed off and told the girl at the front desk. Much to my dismay her rude demeanor when I complained that I had to lie in an aircond room for 20 minutes uncovered and unattended was so nonchalant and blase, she said I was late and because of my original delay the therapist had to finish up another client etc etc. she kept saying it wasnt even that long that I had to wait and when I inquired if Id only get a 30 minute massage she said she thought I should start at 5 and finish with my friends (who are doing 90minutes) together at 6. Of course she made that decision for me without the courtesy of telling me and assumed Id be ok wasting half an hour lying face down in the cold. I made other plans when I thought I was finishing half hour earlier than my friends. Had she just mentioned that my asking for a new appointment time would mess things up I couldve easily tried the outlet on the 1st floor or the many other locations.I demanded a refund and was given one. I find her behavior and rudeness totally unacceptable and inconsistent with Thai Odysseys high standard of professionalism and politeness which Ive encountered many times, but that truly left a bitter taste and while I might continue to go to the other outlets Id definitely avoid the one where shes working. I hope you look into it

I was all prepared to pay for the massage packages as i have always been impressed with the services of Thai Odyssey. However, my experience yesterday at its City Square branch left a bitter taste in my mouth. The masseur appeared to be poorly trained and her massage techniques were hard and fast; hardly relaxing after a tiring week at work. I grimaced in pain but it didn't stop her. I was expecting a few nice "is this okay for you" etc; zilch! That lavender eye pillow was a nice addition although it didn't help much when it fell off and the masseur didn't even bother to put it back. And is it the norm for the masseur to wait for me to finish the hot cup of tea while i was still in the room? I asked for her to go out so that i can slowly sip the tea and change my clothes but she didn't get me. I gave up and passed her the cup after taking a customary sip. I would have expected more with the increased pricing (from RM106 to about RM125) and totally didn't expect a reduced level of service. My apology as it's not likely for me to patronize @Thai Odyssey again.
