I recently spent six weeks at the Setia Badminton Academy and found it to be an extremely worthwhile decision. Firstly, by the head coaches own admission, they 'teach' badminton there not train it. If you are looking for somewhere to train then it may not be the right choice however, my goal was to improve all areas of my badminton game and as such was open to any and all criticism and suggestions. Lessons focus heavily on technique and footwork which was perfect for me. The head coach doesn't let you get away with sloppiness so it can be quite frustrating at times when you think you have it nailed and he continues to find things wrong! :) but being a former singles world champion, he knows what he's talking about. I found all the coaches to be very knowledgeable but especially interesting listening to the head coach as he has a wealth of general sports knowledge not just badminton. Since leaving and playing against previous opponents, I have had many, many positive comments about the changes in my game. I shall be returning there as soon as I can manage it.

Quite place, but it also looks dangerous at night, as it's quite dark at night. Find it very hard to find parking, as the always full of crowd.
