Rumah Charis

Rumah Charis as a non-profit welfare organization was founded by Rev Teo How Ken in 1988 and registered as a social welfare home with the Registrar of Society, Malaysia in year 1993. The chief ministry of Rumah Charis is provide care and assistance to the destitute, the poor, broken family, youths and other needy.

Rumah Charis community services include the Old Folks’ Home, Children’s Home, senior citizens club known as Very Strong Old People's (VSOP) Club and the House of Bread which offers youth vocational training.

For 20 over years, Rumah Charis has offered social services that provide spiritual guidance, shelter, healthy community activities and education. Public help and support along with Gods grace is vital to the success of such a mission..
