Pros: Great staff, prompt buggy service, nice poolside and beachside lounging.
Cons: Loud critters, mosquitoes circling right outside door waiting to attack. The rooms are in 8-suite blocks but for some reason when a doorbell rings in another unit it's so loud you'd think it's your own. Worst of all, the room has a skylight that shines you awake, which was horrible for a super light sleeper like myself. What's the point of having blackout curtains when you design your rooms like that?

My friends and I have been visiting Meritus Pelangi for the past 4 years now and it has never failed to disappoint. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and facilities are ample. The food is equally amazing. A definite place to stay if you stay when visiting Langkawi.
