An organisation for the prevention and control of environmental factors which may directly or indirectly impact the health, safety and well-being of human beings and other lifeforms on earth which are inextricably linked to each other through ecosystems in the living environment.

Prevention and control of diseases, injuries, disabilities, deaths and destruction due to man made or natural occurences such as disasters in the rural, urban and industrial settings forms a broad and diverse range of functions undertaken by our multi-disciplinary group of members who are essentially Environmental Health Practitioners.
