Last week before went to Qatar, I do some money exchange here. Luckily they got the Qatar Riyals. I also change for some amount of US Dollar since the Qatar Riyals were not enough. When I arrived Qatar I went to the local money exchange to buy the Qatar Riyals using the US dollar. Unfortunately one of the USD 50 notes is not accepted there since the it's the old notes before 2006. Very frustrated but I thought it just in Qatar. But went back Malaysia last 2 days went to a local money changer n want to sell back the USD50. But I'm really shock when the money changer that they also do not accept the notes. So I assume this particular money changer is not doing the business honestly. So please double check your changes when do the transaction here.
