Malacca Securities Sdn Bhd ("the Company") is a participating organisation of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and licensed by the Securities Commission to undertake regulated activities of dealing in securities and investment advice.

The Company started as a partnership in 1963 under the name of Malacca Traders. In 1973, the Company was incorporated as Malacca Traders Sdn. (an unlimited company under the Companies Act, 1965). The Company then converted into a private limited company in 1986 as Malacca Traders Sdn Bhd. In 1992, the Company changed to its current name Malacca Securities Sdn. Bhd.

The Company is principally involved in stock broking and dealing in securities listed on Bursa Malaysia and other Exchanges. The Company’s subsidiaries are providing nominees (custodian) services.

1. Equity Trading

Shares quoted in Bursa Malaysia, clients can choose to engage the services of dealers or remisiers or trade using our online share trading portal M+ ( www.mplusonline.com.my ).

 

2. Margin Share Financing

Margin Share Financing is a credit facility granted by Malacca Securities Sdn Bhd to investors for financing the purchase of shares quoted in Bursa Malaysia. Clients can leverage on their existing shares portfolio for longer term holding strategy. Malacca Securities also offers attractive margin package of up to 10 interest free days for shares purchase in margin account

 

3. Foreign Shares Trading

Shares quoted in Singapore, Hong Kong, US, London, Toronto, Indonesia and Thailand stock exchange.

 

4. Collateralised Share Trading

The collateralised share trading offers client with collaterals to enjoy a higher trading limit and/or better brokerage rate.

 

5. Employees' Share Option Scheme (ESOS) Financing

We provide competitive financing facility to employees of public listed company's employee to own shares under their Employees's Share Option Scheme. (ESOS).

 

6. Nominees (Custodian) Services

We provide nominee and custodian services to clients which we act as custodian, agents or trustees for the shareholders of local and foreign shares. Services includes share registration, dividend receivable, corporate exercise entitlement etc
