Puteri Specialist Hospital (Johor) Sdn Bhd (PSH) is formerly known as Medical Centre (Johor) Sdn Bhd. It has been in operation since 1 June 1986 and was taken over by Johor Corporation on 1 March 1993. PSH is a subsidiary of KPJ Healthcare Berhad (KPJHB), the largest group of private healthcare provider In Malaysia. We are accredited by Malaysian Society For Quality in Health (MSQH) on 27/03/2013.

Strategically located at the Larkin area, PSH is about 2 minutes drive from the Larkin Central Bus Terminal and 10 minutes away from the main city centre. It is also easily accessible from Senai International Airport, Stulang International Ferry Terminal and the neighbouring country, Singapore.

PSH offers a wide and comprehensive range of services which includes Accident & Emergency Unit and Intensive Care Services for adults, children and neonates. Other services include Medical, Surgical, Urology, Orthopaedic, Paediatric and Maternity Ward, Nursery, Diagnostic Imaging Services, Laboratory Services, Rehabilitation Services as well as a well stocked Pharmacy Services.

Currently, PSH is operating on 158 bed capacity (Executive and Normal wards) with 29 Resident consultants, 4 Sessional consultants and 14 Visiting consultants. The services cover a complete range comprising Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery, Obstetric and Gynaecology, Paediatric with niche service in Neurology, Paediatric Surgery as well as Spinal Surgery.

Senior Citizens (65 years and above) in PSH will enjoy privileges such as green lane services at selected service area, discounts on long term medication and medical screening as well as many other personalised services.

PSH embraces Malaysia's aspiration of becoming a nation of healthy individuals, families and communities. The key to good health maintenance therefore lies in prevention and going for regular health screening. To this effect, PSH offers health screening packages tailored to individual needs or as required. Health screenings are normally conducted on an outpatient basis in the morning. A medical report on your overall health status will be made available on completion of the screening.

PSH has always support government initiatives to promote better healthcare to the society and government move on promoting breastfeeding to all newborns. PSH is the first private hospital in southern region that has succeeded to receive this certification from Ministry of Health.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR), PSH plays a role in promoting health awareness to the public at large. As part of its activities; PSH provides free medical camps in the rural areas, conduct baby wellness programs and healthy lifestyle campaigns as well as establish Support Group.

- All room rates are inclusive of meals with advice from your doctor.
- All rooms are fully air-conditioned with attached bathroom, TV and telephone (3 bedded and 4/5bedded rooms are not provided with telephone).
- Please note that additional deposit will be required when the patient's deposit exceed the initial deposit paid. A deposit top-up letter stating the addition required will be given to patient's next of kin/guardians.

Security for Your Belongings
During your stay with us, it is advisable not to bring or keep valuables. You are advised to send your valuables home with a family member. If that is not immediately possible, valuables may be kept temporarily in the hospital safe until someone can take them home for you. The hospital will not be responsible for any loss of valuables such as cash, jewelry, mobile phone, or damage to your personal items while in our premises.

This facility is only available in single rooms. To call for internal services, please refer to the hospital telephone directory for extension numbers or press "0" for operator's assistance. To make external calls, please press "0" for operator's assistance. Charges for your external calls will be reflected in your hospital bill. Public telephones are available at the ground floor, near to the A&E service. Hand (Mobile) phones are not permitted within the hospital premises as they may interfere with the high frequency electronic equipment used.

Each patient room is equipped with a television. If you encounter problem with the television, please contact our Public Relation Service at ext. 142.

A choice of one complimentary newspaper is provided to all single room occupants.

Medical Records

A patient or his/her legal representative may have a copy of his/her medical records. With authorization from the patient, his/her copy of medical records will be sent to another facility. Puteri Specialist Hospital (Johor) Sdn. Bhd. l requires a complete signed consent form for authorization to release medical information to another party.

Patient Food Services

If you are under therapeutic diet, our Dietary service will ensure your nutritional requirements are met in accordance with your physician's orders. If you need advice on meal selection or have a question concerning your diet, you may request for Dietetic service. Our Dietitian will pay you a visit.

he service is okay n the doctors are all great. But the hospital facilities is a different story. In the wards, they try to practically charged us every single item ie pillow, blanket, chair. Not even hotels do that anymore. Then the are the always broken toilets. This is all on top of the king's ransom they put us with. Plz try to treat your client decently.

price is quite expensive. not all the nurse are polite and friendly. parking lot is always not enough.
