Kidurong International School was established by Shell on its current site in 1982 with a roll of 33 children. To reflect the objective of the school, it was named OSA School, with OSA meaning “Operation Sharing Agreement” whereby the cost of the administration and running of the school was shared by two operating companies, MLNG and Shell. At the moment the school is run by Shell MDS only and receives educational support from Shell Education Services in the Hague. The name changed in January 2007 in order to more accurately convey the nature and the location of the school. As Shell currently operates primary schools in locations as diverse as Brunei, Gabon, Russia, Oman and Nigeria; Kidurong International School can be seen as part of primary schools serving children around the globe. We welcome children of all nationalities and all learning takes place through the medium of English.
