Very disappointing. The staffs really need to work on attending to the patients with more care and speed. We had many times when we called the nurse and told the situation but didn't get any responses or medications up to one hour. The nurses are not friendly and the hospital should pay more attention to their service they are giving.

Clean hospital and modern look for interior. The air condition too cool i think. The doctor Ms Teh breast surgeon specialist is so patient and very clearfull explanation about my mom matters

Doctors are good, cleanliness is well maintained. However service level must be improved like for example, waiting time could be shortened, staffs serving patients/customers could be friendlier (better trained).

What the hell hospital , big management with a stupid staff , level 6 discharge account dept. Alls patient have to wait 40 minutes above !!!!! The cashier at counter 1 Chinese Aunty still & keep talking with her best friend patient - handle 1 patient nearly 0.30 minutes

My wife gave birth to our first child in this hospital on 30.12.2015. I would have to say that the gynae, is one of the best gynae in penang. She is very gentle n a good gynae. But we were very dissapointed with the ward service. The nurses were rude and dint give a shit about what the patients feel. C-section was performed on my wife at 1.54pm. She was brought back to the ward at arnd 3.30pm. They did not even bother to change her clothes which has a huge amount of blood stains untill 7.00pm, after we complained to the nurses there. The nurse appologize by saying they were short of staff and requested me to change my wife's clothes myself... wtf? She jst had a c-sect n u expect me to change her clothes for her when she is in alot of pain?... 2ndly they dint even bother to change her maternity pad at all. It was soaked in blood n it got all over the bed. I told the nurse abt it at 8pm. She said they are busy writing reports n asked me to wait. I waited untill 9.30 before i scolded the nurses. They then came at 10.00 pm to change the materniry pad. They change the maternity pad but did not even bother to wash the blood stains on her private parts and thighs... they only washed it the next day... 3rdly, they brought the baby to my wife for her to see and breastfeed at 10.30pm... after i shouted at the nursery. A mother suffered a lot to deliver her baby at 2.00pm. They brought the baby to her at 10pm. I pitty my wife as she was frequently requesting to see her baby. After all of the nonsense, they charge me rm10,000.00. This is the worst hospital in terms of service. Everyone here is rude. Heck i thing GH is much2 more better.

Horrible experience for such an expensive hospital. You pay to WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! 1. May not be all nurses but most of them with sour and unfriendly faces. Lack of basic courtesy. Came into the room without knocking. Walked out from the room without a word when informed that the patient is in shower. Hey! With that kind of attitude, go get a debt collector job. No mention about caring for the patients. 2. Incompetent and blur nurses. You are handling life. You can kill or cut short people life span. Go find another job if you are struggling with the fundamental knowledge. 3. Sorry. After office hour the operation theatres are closed except 1 is in operations. Ops... You want an operation? Wait lah. All staff have gone home just have 1 theatre is up. You can wait for 10 hours for a minor operation by jumping up and down. Who cares? Business is still good. 4. The entire operation flow is so inefficient. You are bringing people mary go round. 5. The nurse got the gut to ask you "can't you see I'm so busy with so much of paper work now?" And this is the reason of unable to transfer the patient to the right room after hours of waiting? Do I care? 6. The staff in the insurance department can be screaming at each other for a chit in front of customers.EO should take note of all the complains seriously. Don't just be a bloody blood sucking organisations. The receptions looks like they are forced to work at the desk. Service is slow and consideration of the patients condition is secondary compared with the wellbeing. After all what is your calling of being care givers? making sure patient pay their bills or to make sure they heal and cure? If service is good then maybe it's another matter.

I went to Penang Gleneagles Hospital as a well known hospital to ask for maternity package. I went into the international patient center and approached a vacant service consultant shall I get a queue number. Her face show very unfriendly and talk to me without eye contact. Then she is the one who served me and I ask for single room package. Again, her respond is unapproachable replied in a way make me felt she look me down that * we don't have single room package*. Then I ask mean here have no single room? She then said single room no package, its under separate charge. My budget is not exceeded RM 20k after 5 years especially in Malaysia. So I ask her carefully it is over RM 20k? She then bring me a A4 size maternity information details and show me price at RM 5-8k inclusive baby, room etc. I just felt only this much? Why the service consultant act in a manner the price like I cant afford? Because I wear a backpack and in casual? This is how poor experince I had with Gleneagles Hospital Penang. At least a smile also never receive from the reception to any corner.

Looks like a hotel but that one chinese female receptionist was bitchy and have an attitude. Muka saja lawa tapi tarak tau senyum.

stupid hospital from morning 9am wait until almost 5pm...totally not efficient...and waste of time...futhermore it is nt pack at all...wait to pay bills also nid 1hour
