I had the opportunity to be a guest at a private room for buffet lunch on 23 April 2017. Hats up to the chefs for the sumptuous and delicious food, for which I would most likely visit again. But the quality of service at the operational level certainly needs improvement. Following are details of my comments:
As my friends and I sat down at a partially occupied table, we wished the waiters or waitresses were more alert towards guests who came in and where they sat. Even after we have sat down for some time, we were not provided with cutlery and serviette until we asked for them. Used plates were also not cleared up to the time we finished eating.

We were in Thirty8 for Valentine's dinner but kinda disappointed with the dining area as it wasn't decorated at all. Come on Hyatt, at least some balloons tie to the chair or roses petals on the tables to bring some "uummph" and more lovey atmosphere of such important date to all the love birds. The pano view of KL was great but too bad there were just none any additional touch up for the date! Couldn't see the effort at all vs the price we've paid for the Valentine's menu.
