Dr. Chai Feng Yih

Dr. Chai is one of the most friendly, patient and slillful doctor we have met. My husband was admitted twice due to gallbladder infection but hesitate to remove his gallbladder. He provided us detailed explaination about my husband's condition that was easy to understand, treated my husband with care, patience and profesionalism.

Later, he skillfully removed my husband's infected gallbladder with pus and many adhesion via pinhole surgery. Dr. Chai explained that the pinholes were minilaparoscopy using 3mm instruments. The surgery was in the morning. My husband was almost painfree after the surgery, was sitting up, eating and started to walk around by the afternoon and evening. We stayed for another few days for the antibiotic but the stay was smooth. The JMC nurses were very helpful and kind. The room was quite comfortable too.

I was always afraid of getting my large hernia fixed. Until last week, it became so painful that I have to see Dr. Chai and have to do something.

He put my swelling back in, explained to me carefully about my hernia, about how to fix it and helped me to get over my fear of surgery.

Then, I did the keyhole hernia repair. To my surprise, only 3 small holes done, my large hernia is gone! There is almost no pain and I didnt take much pain killer. I was walking around by the afternoon of the surgery and eating well. And got discharge home the next day with no problem. Fantastic keyhole surgery by Dr. Chai!
