Dr Alan Ang Jin Soon

Dr Alan Ang Jin Soon is a member of Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology (MSO), the professional body that represents eye doctors in Malaysia.

A big thanks to Dr Alan Ang who had helped me to mitigate the pain of having poor presbyopia of one of my eyes which was done by previous doctor in the past few years back and huge variance of the power for my eyes. The first surgery done by the ex-doctor was a failure to me with multi-focal lens implant. It didn't perform well as expected where I'm unable to do reading at all and the vision sharpness dropped drastically with halos and glare at night merely due to the deficiency of the brand of the multifocal lens was chosen (Not to name here :-( ). I have been struggling with imbalance vision and poor result until I had meet up with Dr Alan. He is an attentive doctor and affable person who is willing to spend time and listen the needs of patient, address all the doubts and questions. After all the analysis and Dr Alan proposed Lentis multi-focal lens MF-20 and I've reviewed it through together with him the pros and cons and agreed on that. The surgery went smoothly and very successful. The first feeling after few hours of the surgery was great as my vision is so clear and intermediate range of reading performance is acceptable comparing to the other eye was done years back. This is a very positive sign with this good effect not even 24hours and so excited. Not to forget, the accuracy of measurement done by Dr Alan was one of the key factor contribute to the success and make the multi-focal lens work what it suppose to be. I will certainly work it through with him and seek for his expertise to correct the existing defect of the presbyopia which is developed during the first surgery. Once again, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr Alan Ang and without any hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family. Thanks for Lentis MF-20 too.
