Amid the unfounded fear among parents against child vaccination, Dr Musa debunked the myth by certain parents that the MMR vaccine may cause autism is actually based on a fraudulent study and the doctor has been expelled. He also claimed that Malaysia has excellent immunisation programmer as the coverage of virtually all of our vaccines are in excess of 90 to 95 percent.

Dato' Dr. Musa Mohd Nordin is the Honorary Treasurer of the Malaysian Paediatric Association (MPA). MPA plays a major role in advocacy on all issues related to paediatrics and child health.
