The Society was created to ultimately help revive the dying 64 arts and culture of Indians in Malaysia.The major objective of the Society is to identify exceptionally talented young Indian students and support them financially to develop their special skill and talents to the maximum. It achieves this by awarding scholarships to outstanding young students to continue their study/research abroad. The Society also operates a Take-Off-Grant Scheme.
It grants scholarships and awards to gifted young Indians to carry on their work within the country. In addition, the Society has established links with premier institutions, like the Malaysia: Malaysia Hindu Sangam, Sangeetha Swara Laya, Kalaikottam, USA Alagappa Performing Arts Academy India Alagappa University The Society also plans to awards scholarships in the area of Theatre, Film Studies and Sports.
